McLeod and Skille helped raise awareness for U.S. military veteran suicide prevention after being nominated by Denver youth hockey coach Angelo Ricci. Before finishing their 22 on-ice pushups, McLeod and Skille passed the challenge to ESPN and World Cup of Hockey broadcaster John Buccigross, Cleveland Monsters assistant general manager Blake Geoffrion and Avalanche defenseman Erik Johnson, who can be seen showing off his best swimming stroke and strong skating skills in the background.
