Burgundy/White Game Set For Sept. 17

The Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club will hold its annual Burgundy/White Game on Sunday, Sept. 17, at Magness Arena on the campus of the University of Denver. Puck drop is scheduled for 10 a.m.
DU will host the event for the fourth consecutive year and for the eighth time overall, more than any other location. Magness Arena was also the site of the contest in 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2014, 2015 and 2016.

The Air Force Academy has hosted the Burgundy/White Game on five occasions (2007-09, 2011, 2013). The first three contests were played at World Arena in Colorado Springs (1998-2000), while the 2010 game was held at 1STBANK Center in Broomfield.
Tickets vary in price from $10-25 and will be available through the University of Denver Athletic Department's website at www.denverpioneers.com. Fans will be able to choose their seats from DU's interactive Pick Your Seat Map when they sign in. Tickets go on sale to the general public on this Friday, Aug. 18, at 10 a.m.
