Peter Budaj made 19 stops after relieving Jose Theodore, including this save on Niklas Kronwall. The defenseman was on the receiving end of a give-and-go, but his slap shot from the slot was stopped by Budaj.
Lappy Gets One - 29.49% of fan votes
Ian Laperriere notched his third career playoff goal – Colorado’s only tally of the night – off a feed from Cody McCormick 2:38 into the third period. McCormick tipped the puck toward the front of the Detroit goal, where Laperriere knocked it past Chris Osgood.
Theo Robs Lidstrom- 19.35% of fan votes
Jose Theodore made this big stop on Nicklas Lidstrom 3:43 into the first period. Lidstrom took a cross-ice feed from Pavel Datsyuk and fired a shot on goal, but Theodore got in front of the defenseman’s attempt.
