Colorado will also be the visiting team twice on "Wednesday Night Hockey" when the squad plays at the Pittsburgh Penguins on Oct. 16 and at the Chicago Blackhawks on Dec. 18.

Two of the five matchups between the Avalanche and Minnesota Wild this season will also air on NBCSN, including when the squads' faceoff at Pepsi Center on Dec. 27 and when they meet in St. Paul on Feb. 9.
