MILESTONE FOR BELLY:Pierre-Edouard Bellemare is expected to skate in his 400th career game tonight in Dallas. The Le Blanc-Mesnil, France, native will become only the third French-born player in NHL history to reach that milestone, joining Paul MacLean (719) and Antoine Roussel (478).
MacKINNON STREAK ENDS AT 13:Nathan MacKinnon's season-opening 13-game point streak was snapped in Saturday's loss to Arizona. MacKinnon's streak was the longest to start a season in Avalanche history and the fourth longest in franchise history. It was the longest by an NHL player to open a campaign since Henrik Zetterberg (17 straight) in 2007-08.
NOTABLE OCTOBER: The Avalanche finished 8-2-2 in October, 4-1-1 at home and 4-1-1 on the road. It ranked as the fifth-best October in the 40-year history of the Avalanche/Nordiques franchise. Cale Makar finished the month of October with 10 points (1g/9a) in 12 games. His nine assists set a new Avalanche record for the most helpers by a rookie defenseman in a single month, while his 10 points were the third-highest in any month.

The Avalanche wraps up a two-game road swing at the Dallas Stars Tuesday night, the second time the Central Division foes are meeting in a five-day span. Dallas won the first matchup of the season, 2-1 on Nov. 1 at Pepsi Center. This is the second of four meetings between the teams in 2019-20.

Thursday, Nov. 7 vs. Nashville Predators

Two of the Central Division's top teams clash for the first time this season on Thursday night, as the Avalanche opens a two-game homestand against the Nashville Predators. The clubs split last season's four-game series, with each team winning both games on the road.

Saturday, Nov. 9 vs. Columbus Blue Jackets

Pepsi Center, 7 p.m. MT, TV: Altitude, Radio: 92.5 FM
The Columbus Blue Jackets make their only trip to Pepsi Center on Saturday night. Colorado will visit Columbus on Feb. 8 to close out the season series. The Avs are 20-9-1 all-time on home ice against the Blue Jackets.

Avalanche defensemen Mark Barberio and Ian Cole went reverse trick-or-treating at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children on Halloween. The duo, joined by mascot Bernie and the Avalanche Ice Patrol, spent time with children and their families in the pediatric, pediatric intensive care and infusion center units of the hospital. The group handed out "treats" in the form of Avalanche super hero capes to the brave children being served by RMHC. >View Photo Gallery
