MILESTONE FOR BELLY: Pierre-Edouard Bellemare is expected to skate in his 400th career game tonight in Dallas. The Le Blanc-Mesnil, France, native will become only the third French-born player in NHL history to reach that milestone, joining Paul MacLean (719) and Antoine Roussel (478).

MacKINNON STREAK ENDS AT 13: Nathan MacKinnon's season-opening 13-game point streak was snapped in Saturday's loss to Arizona. MacKinnon's streak was the longest to start a season in Avalanche history and the fourth longest in franchise history. It was the longest by an NHL player to open a campaign since Henrik Zetterberg (17 straight) in 2007-08.

NOTABLE OCTOBER: The Avalanche finished 8-2-2 in October, 4-1-1 at home and 4-1-1 on the road. It ranked as the fifth-best October in the 40-year history of the Avalanche/Nordiques franchise. Cale Makar finished the month of October with 10 points (1g/9a) in 12 games. His nine assists set a new Avalanche record for the most helpers by a rookie defenseman in a single month, while his 10 points were the third-highest in any month.

Avalanche defensemen Mark Barberio and Ian Cole went reverse trick-or-treating at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children on Halloween. The duo, joined by mascot Bernie and the Avalanche Ice Patrol, spent time with children and their families in the pediatric, pediatric intensive care and infusion center units of the hospital. The group handed out "treats" in the form of Avalanche super hero capes to the brave children being served by RMHC. >View Photo Gallery

"[They're] definitely going through some extremely tough times, and we can't really help out much as far as their issues go, but hopefully if we can bring a little bit of enjoyment... However we do it, just here to hopefully brighten up some days." - Avalanche defenseman Ian Cole on visiting Rocky Mountaaian Hospital for Children on Halloween for a reverse trick-or-treaating event
