Tuesday, February 7 vs. Montreal Canadiens

Pepsi Center, 7 p.m. MT, TV: Altitude, Radio: 950 AM
The Avalanche continues a three-game homestand on Tuesday, hosting the Montreal Canadiens at Pepsi Center. It's the only visit the Canadiens will make to the Mile High City. Montreal beat the Avs in the first meeting of the season at the Bell Centre.

Thursday, February 9 vs. Pittsburgh Penguins

Pepsi Center, 7 p.m. MT, TV: Altitude, Radio: 950 AM
Colorado and Pittsburgh will face each other for the final time this season. The Avs won the last matchup, 4-3 in overtime, on Oct. 17 and are 7-3-4 on home ice in the all-time series.

Saturday, February 11 at New York Rangers

The Avalanche begins a season-long five-game road trip, taking on the New York Rangers Saturday night. The Avs lost the first game of the 2016-17 series, 6-2 on Dec. 31, but are 10-5-1 on the road against New York and haven't lost at MSG since Feb. 4, 2014.

Barclays Center, 4 p.m. MT, TV: Altitude, Radio: 950 AM
Colorado plays the second half of a back-to-back on Sunday against the Islanders. The Avs earned an overtime win over New York on Jan. 6, getting 35 saves from Calvin Pickard and a goal and an assist from Nathan MacKinnon.

Avalanche forward Mikhail Grigorenko, defenseman Nikita Zadorov and goaltender Calvin Pickard helped coach the Colorado Avalanche Pee-Wee team's practice ahead of its departure for the 58th Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament. This year's Avalanche representative, the Foothills Flyers, will compete in the tournament from Feb. 8-20.

On Wed., Feb. 8, Avalanche Captain Gabriel Landeskog will skate with 50 physically disabled athletes from National Sports Center for Disabled as part of the Break The Ice program and Hockey Is For Everyone month.

Prospect Report

San Antonio Rampage forward Rocco Grimaldi was named the CCM/AHL Player of the Week last Wednesday after totaling five points in three games for the Rampage. He scored four goals - including two game winners - and added an assist to go along with a plus-4 rating. Grimaldi leads San Antonio with 36 points (19 goals, 17 assists) in 46 appearances this season.
The Colorado Eagles' 2-1 shootout win over the Alaska Aces on Saturday gave the club its sixth-straight victory. The Eagles are currently tied with the Allen Americans for first place in the Mountain Division of the ECHL.
