Thursday, November 2 vs. Carolina Hurricanes

Pepsi Center, 7 p.m. MT, TV: Altitude, Radio: 950 AM
Colorado begins a stretch of six consecutive games against the Eastern Conference on Thursday, hosting the Carolina Hurricanes at Pepsi Center. It's also the Avs' annual Hockey Fights Cancer night, as the hockey community unites in support of cancer patients and their families.

Saturday, November 4 at Philadelphia Flyers

Wells Fargo Center, 5 p.m. MT, TV: Altitude 2, Radio: 950 AM
The Avalanche begins its road trip in the City of Brotherly Love, taking on the Flyers at Wells Fargo Center. Colorado dropped both contests against Philly in 2016-17 and is 7-6-1 on the road in the all-time series between the teams.

Sunday, November 5 at New York Islanders

Barclays Center, 4 p.m. MT, TV: Altitude, Radio: 950 AM
The Avs take on the New York Islanders before embarking on a six-day trip to Sweden for the NHL's Global Series. Colorado split a two-game series against the Isles last season, with each team winning at home. New York will visit Pepsi Center on New Year's Eve.

Avs In The Community

On Monday afternoon, Sven Andrighetto and Mark Barberio joined Avalanche strength and conditioning coach Casey Bond to provide 50 students from Kemp Elementary School with principles of healthy eating and overall wellness. The students also participated in a fitness session with the players, including a variety of agility, cardio and biometric stations.

Player Spotlight: Tyson Barrie

Barrie recorded his 200th NHL point against the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday, becoming the sixth defenseman in franchise history to reach the milestone. He leads all Avalanche defensemen in points (9) and assists (7) and is tied for ninth among NHL blueliners in points. He also had a career-high six-game point streak from Oct. 11-24, the longest by an Avalanche defenseman since Kevin Shattenkirk's nine-game run from Nov. 17 to Dec. 4, 2010.
