Player Spotlight: J.T. Compher

Compher has 17 points (10g, 7a) in 38 games this season, including four points (3g, 1a) in his last five outings. He scored his second overtime goal of the year on Thursday night against Edmonton, becoming the first rookie in Avalanche/Nordiques history to score two OT winners in a season (not including playoffs).

"For us, it's just building on each game and continuing to have good habits, play our game because we know we can win at home. We've proven that this year. Going into San Jose, just making sure we're playing our game."

-Colorado forward J.T. Compher, as the Avalanche prepares to play its first home game since Jan. 20 against the San Jose Sharks
