Philipp Grubauer Pittsburgh Penguins close up 2018 November 28

Philipp Grubauer will get the start in goal tonight for the Colorado Avalanche as the club hosts the New York Rangers at Pepsi Center.
Pavel Francouz will serve as the backup goaltender for the Avs as Semyon Varlamov is still day-to-day with a lower-body injury. Varlamov took part in Colorado's morning skate.

Head coach Jared Bednar said after the pre-game practice that forward Sven Andrighetto will return to the lineup after being a healthy scratch for the past two contests. Gabriel Bourque will be scratched this evening.
Bednar also noted that the rest of the Avalanche's game roster will remain the same as it was from the club's last game on Wednesday against the San Jose Sharks.
Below is the Avalanche's projected lineup. All forward combinations and defensive pairings are subject to change.
