Philipp Grubauer Anaheim Ducks Road Jersey Solo Shot 22 January 2021

The Colorado Avalanche looks to continue its point streak tonight as the team hosts the Anaheim Ducks at Ball Arena.
Colorado has points in 10 straight outings (8-0-2) and is 7-0-1 in its last eight games on home ice after falling 3-2 in overtime to the Vegas Golden Knights on Saturday. Anaheim has won two games in row after sweeping a set at the St. Louis Blues over the weekend, including a 3-2 victory in OT on Sunday.

Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar said this morning that his lineup versus the Ducks will be the same as it was on Saturday, with goaltender Philipp Grubauer making his third straight start in net. Grubauer had his career-long eight-game winning streak come to end against Vegas, but he is still 11-2-1 in his last 14 decisions.
Rookie defenseman Bowen Byram remains day-to-day with an upper-body injury and will miss his second consecutive contest. He did not participate in morning skate.
Below is the Avalanche's projected lineup for tonight's game against the Ducks. All forward combinations and defensive pairings are subject to change.
