The Colorado Avalanche returns home to wrap up its three-game season series with the Arizona Coyotes this afternoon.
Goaltender Jonathan Bernier will get the start in net for the first time since he suffered a head injury on Feb. 16. He is 17-11-2 this season and has started in 29 games for the Avalanche.
The forward combinations are expected to be different than they were in the Avs' last game as Gabriel Landeskog practiced on a line with Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen on Friday after playing one game with Alexander Kerfoot and J.T. Compher.
Sven Andrighetto was with rookies Compher and Tyson Jost at Friday's practice and Kerfoot moved to a line with Gabriel Bourque and Dominic Toninato. Andrighetto returned to the lineup against Columbus after missing 28 games with a lower-body injury.
"I thought Andrighetto was good, he played with good speed and Kerfoot has been struggling a little bit here lately," head coach Jared Bednar after practice on Friday. "We are still making some lineup decisions for tomorrow but there might be some changes."
Below is the anticipated lineup for Colorado, based on how the club practiced on Friday. All line combinations and defensive pairings are subject to change.
92 Gabriel Landeskog - 29 Nathan MacKinnon - 96 Mikko Rantanen
10 Sven Andrighetto - 17 Tyson Jost - 37 J.T. Compher
83 Matt Nieto - 34 Carl Soderberg - 14 Blake Comeau
57 Gabriel Bourque - 47 Dominic Toninato - 13 Alexander Kerfoot

Today's game is the second of four afternoon outings at Pepsi Center this month for Colorado and the fourth weekend in a row that the Avalanche will play a matinee contest.
It is also Colorado's Military Appreciation Game as part of Kroenke Sports & Entertainment's Military Appreciation Weekend. The Avalanche players will wear special edition, camouflage jerseys during warmup on Saturday that will be signed and auctioned off afterward.
Fans who purchase tickets online have an option to donate $10 and a ticket to a member of the military upon checkout. Tickets for the game are still available.
