The Colorado Avalanche plays the Dallas Stars on Monday night at American Airlines Center in its fifth of six preseason games of 2017-18. The contest will be the Avs' third in as many nights after playing a home-and-home set with the Minnesota Wild on Saturday and Sunday.
The start time for Monday's exhibition game is 6:30 p.m. MT, and it can be heard on Altitude Sports Radio AM 950 or on ColoradoAvalanche.com.

Colorado split its two games against Minnesota over the weekend, falling 2-1 on Saturday in St. Paul and winning 5-1 on Sunday in Denver.
The Avalanche scored five unanswered goals in Sunday's victory. Nathan MacKinnon recorded two goals and an assist while J.T. Compher, Rocco Grimaldi and Mikko Rantanen also tallied. Gabriel Landeskog pitched in with two helpers.
Semyon Varlamov made his second start of the preseason and finished with 28 saves in net. He has stopped 48-of-51 shots in his two outings.
Goaltender Jonathan Bernier will play in Monday's contest at the Stars after making his preseason debut on Saturday at the Wild. Bernier finished with 22 saves.
Dallas is 2-1-0 in the preseason after picking up two victories against the St. Louis Blues. The Stars are coming off a 4-0 win in St. Louis on Saturday that saw goalie Kari Lehtonen stop all 21 shots he faced to earn the shutout.
The Avalanche has given Dallas its only loss of the preseason, a 5-1 defeat on Thursday at Pepsi Center.
After Monday's game, Colorado will have two days off before ending the preseason with a matchup at the Vegas Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
