Avalanche Sends Three Qualifying Offers

Colorado retains contract negotiation rights with these players ahead of free agency

The Colorado Avalanche has sent qualifying offers to three restricted free agents to retain their negotiating rights.
Below is a list of Colorado's restricted free agents that have received qualifying offers.

Dennis Gilbert
Tyson Jost
Conor Timmins
By issuing the offers, NHL clubs are given the first right of refusal or draft choice compensation should the player sign an offer sheet with another team.
RFAs who do not get a qualifying offer from their respective teams become unrestricted free agents. This year's free agency period begins on Wednesday, July 28 at 10 a.m. MT.
