Avalanche Recalls Hensick

The Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club announced today that it has recalled center T.J. Hensick from the Lake Erie Monsters, the team’s American Hockey League affiliate.  He will be available to play tomorrow night when the Avalanche hosts the Phoenix Coyotes (7pm, Altitude HD, KKFN AM 950).

Hensick, 21, has recorded 15 points (5g/10a) in 21 games with the Monsters, including a seven-game scoring streak from November 10-23 (3g/6a). He made his NHL debut on November 30 at San Jose and amassed three points (1g/2a) during his recent 12-game stint with the Avalanche before being reassigned to Lake Erie on December 28.
