by Staff Writer / Colorado Avalanche
The Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club announced today that the team has recalled forward Chris Durno and defenseman Brian Fahey from the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League. Both players will be available for this afternoon’s game in Minnesota against the Wild (12:00 p.m. MT, Altitude TV).

Durno, 29, is being recalled for the third time this season.  He has played in five games with Colorado this year, tallying one assist.  The Scarborough, Ontario native leads the Monsters in scoring with 15 points (9g/6a) in 14 games.

Fahey, 28, was acquired from the New York Rangers this past July.  He has appeared in all 20 games with Lake Erie this season, recording five goals and one assist.  The Glenview, Illinois native leads all Monsters defensemen in goals and is tied for first in points.

The Avalanche also announced today that defenseman Adam Foote (jaw) has been placed on the injured reserve list (retroactive to Nov. 17).  On Thursday, the Avalanche reassigned forward T.J. Hensick to Lake Erie.
