Avalanche Recalls Ben Guite

DENVER - The Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club announced Wednesday that it has recalled forward Ben Guite from its American Hockey League affiliate in Albany.
Guite began the season in Albany before being recalled by the Avalanche on Jan. 3. He appeared in three games with Colorado, recording one point, his first career NHL goal on Jan. 9 vs. Detroit. He was reassigned to Albany on Jan. 12.
The 28-year old ranked third on the River Rats in scoring at the time of his most recent call-up with 28 points in 35 games (9g/19a).
