by Colorado Avalanche / Colorado Avalanche is again asking for your help in determining the Avalanche's "Play of the Week" each week during the regular season. At the end of the year, a bracket-style tournament will be held to determine, via fan voting, the Avalanche's "Play of the Year."

Goals by Greg Mauldin, David Jones & Matt Duchene are this week's nominees.

Voting ends on Monday, Dec. 6 at 3:00 p.m. MT, so be sure to cast your ballot today!

Mauldin Heats Up – 11/27 vs. Minnesota
Greg Mauldin recorded the first of his four points (2g/2a) against the Minnesota Wild on this play. After an errant stretch pass by Minnesota defenseman Nick Schultz, Paul Stastny tracked down the puck at the blue line and chipped it ahead to a cutting Mauldin, who split a pair of defenders and beat Niklas Backstrom five-hole.

Jones Puts It Home – 11/27 vs. Minnesota
David Jones netted his 10th goal of the season after being set up by Greg Mauldin during the third period of Colorado’s 7-4 win against Minnesota. Mauldin started the play in the Avs’ defensive zone and worked a nice give-and-go with Ryan Wilson, eventually receiving the return pass and skating into the left circle. From that spot, Mauldin centered a feed that Jones knocked past Niklas Backstrom.

Duchene Gets Another – 11/30 vs. Atlanta
After being denied by Dustin Byfuglien’s back-check on his first entrance into the offensive zone, Matt Duchene quickly made up for it. Just seconds later, the center found a loose puck at the blueline, raced back into the zone and used his speed to get the angle on Atlanta defenseman Tobias Enstrom. From there, Duchene scored his fourth goal in as many games by beating Ondrej Pavelec with a low shot.
