by ColoradoAvalanche.com - Official Site of the Colorado Avalanche / Colorado Avalanche
ColoradoAvalanche.com is offering fans a new way to get in the game this year. Your voice will be heard in selecting Colorado’s “Play of the Week” each week during the season.

We’ll offer up three choices, and you choose the top play by voting on the poll below or on the homepage of ColoradoAvalanche.com. At the end of the season, a bracket-style tournament will be held to determine – once again, through fan voting – the Avalanche’s “Play of the Year”.

Check out this week’s three nominees, and be sure to vote for your favorite by Monday at 12:00 p.m. MT.

Tucker's Tip Ties It- 11/15 @ Edmonton
With the Avs trailing the Oilers 2-1 late in the third, Darcy Tucker masterfully tipped home a Jordan Leopold point shot to even the game with 10.7 seconds remaining. Tucker went on to add the shootout winner in a 3-2 Colorado victory.

Budaj Stops Primeau - 11/18 at Calgary
Peter Budaj made many solid stops during his career-high 47-save performance against the Flames, but this block of a Wayne Primeau attempt may have been the best. During a flurry of action around the crease, Budaj kept his composure and stopped a shot that Primeau batted out of mid-air in front of the crease.

Hensick Feeds Svatos - 11/18 at Calgary

After receiving a pass from Wojtek Wolski behind the Calgary goal, T.J. Hensick immediately made a quick backhand pass to Marek Svatos in front of the net. From there, Svatos one-timed the feed past Miikka Kiprusoff for his third goal of the season.
