by Colorado Avalanche / Colorado Avalanche is again asking for your help in determining the Avalanche's "Play of the Week" each week during the regular season. At the end of the year, a bracket-style tournament will be held to determine, via fan voting, the Avalanche's "Play of the Year."

Goals by Paul Stastny, Chris Stewart and Kevin Porter are nominated this week.

Voting ends on Monday, Nov. 22 at 3:00 p.m. MT, so be sure to cast your ballot today!

Stastny’s Stick Work – 11/12 vs. Columbus
Paul Stastny started this play with some nice stick work and then finished it himself. Stastny first knocked down a Columbus clearing attempt to keep the play in the Avalanche’s offensive zone, where Kevin Porter quickly picked it up. Porter then sent a feed down to the bottom of the right circle to Chris Stewart, who quickly set up Stastny with a nice centering pass.

Stewart Gets It Started – 11/17 vs. San Jose
Chris Stewart started the Avalanche’s third-period rally against the Sharks with this tally. Colorado trailed San Jose by a 3-1 count when John-Michael Liles made a pinpoint lead pass to Stewart just outside of the blue line. From there, Stewart turned on the jets and got around Sharks defenseman Mike Moore before putting a shot past Antero Niittymaki to bring the Avalanche within a goal.

Porter Wins It – 11/17 vs. San Jose
Kevin Porter capped off the Avalanche’s comeback against San Jose with this overtime goal. After breaking free from Sharks defenseman Kent Huskins during the extra session, Porter raced in on a semi-breakaway and beat Antero Niittymaki with a low shot even though he was being hauled down to the ice.
