Wilson Crushes D’Agostini – 3/6 vs. St. Louis
Ryan Wilson distributed another one of his big hits against the Blues, with Matt D’Agostini being the recipient this time around. The St. Louis forward picked up the puck at the blue line and chipped it into Colorado’s defensive zone, but was met by a big open ice hip check from Wilson.

Stewart Completes Hat Trick – 3/6 vs. St. Louis
With two goals already in the game, Chris Stewart was awarded a penalty shot after being tripped up by Blues defenseman Erik Johnson on a breakaway. On his penalty shot attempt, Stewart slowly made his way toward the crease and beat St. Louis goalie Ty Conklin to his glove side to complete his first career hat trick.

Clark’s Big Fake – 3/11 vs. Florida
Defenseman Brett Clark helped give the Avalanche a 1-0 lead over the Florida Panthers with a nice play from the point. While the Avalanche was on a power play, Clark faked a shot from just inside the blue line that caused two Florida defenders to bite hard. Once they had cleared out of the way, Clark fired a shot on net, the rebound of which was knocked home by Paul Stastny.
