Stastny Sets Up Quincey – 2/2/ vs. Columbus
Paul Stastny showed off his vision and patience while setting up this goal by Kyle Quincey. The Avs were trailing Columbus, 1-0, late in the first period when Stastny found himself with the puck near the right faceoff circle. After spotting Quincey open near the goal crease, Stastny waited an extra half second before firing a cross-ice pass to the defenseman for the tally.

O’Reilly A Little Short – 2/2 vs. Columbus
Avalanche rookie Ryan O’Reilly pulled off a rare feat, scoring two short-handed goals against the Columbus Blue Jackets during a four-minute double-minor penalty to Paul Stastny.
