For the first time since they were division rivals last season, the Colorado Avalanche face the Los Angeles Kings to complete a southern California back-to-back. The game begins at 7:30 p.m. MT on Thursday.
Last night, the Avs shut out the Anaheim Ducks 2-0. Nazem Kadri led the team with two points (one goal, one assist). Samuel Girard scored the other Colorado goal, while Andre Burakovsky, J.T. Compher and Devon Toews each tallied an assist.

This will be Colorado's third back-to-back in the span of two weeks. Following this contest, the Avs return to Denver for a three-game homestand.

INJURY REPORT
Valeri Nichushkin remains in health and safety protocol. Bowen Byram continues to be sidelined with concerns over head injuries. Darren Helm is out, rehabbing a lower body injury. Jacob MacDonald is sidelined with an upper-body injury he sustained on Dec. 12. Stefan Matteau is expected to remain out while he rehabs a lower-body injury from October 2021.
