Avalanche Hosts Kings

by ColoradoAvalanche.com - Official Site of the Colorado Avalanche / Colorado Avalanche
After a 3-0 shutout victory against the Dallas Stars on Sunday night, the Colorado Avalanche (1-2-0) looks to make it two in a row, against the visiting Los Angeles Kings.

The Kings are coming off a 3-2 shootout loss last night in Kansas City against the Pittsburgh Penguins, dropping their record to 1-1-2 in preseason play.  Goaltender Jonathan Bernier played 65 minutes and made 39 saves in a game that eventually went eight rounds deep into a shootout.

After a stop in St. Louis to face the Blues tomorrow night (6:00 p.m. MT), the Avs square up with the Kings on Saturday (7:00 p.m. MT) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV.
