San Antonio Rampage

Rocco Grimaldi scored on a power play to stretch the lead to 4-1 in the third stanza, and Tucson's rally fell short.
The Rampage outshot the Roadrunners 24-14 in the first two periods alone to skate away with the victory. Spencer Martin started in goal and made 21 saves.
O'Brien earned First Star of the Game honors with his third multi-point game of the season and Siemens recorded his first multi-point performance of the campaign.
On Friday, the Rampage dropped a 3-2 decision to the Ontario Reign at Citizens Business Bank Arena.
After trailing 3-0 in the second period, San Antonio's comeback began with a shot from Eric Gelinas that was tipped in by Felix Girard. Gabriel Bourque also assisted on the play. Grimaldi scored a power-play goal at 10:01 in the third frame to bring the game within one score, but San Antonio was unable to find the equalizer.
Gelinas played in his 350th professional game. Joe Cannata started between the pipes and made 33 saves in the match.
The Rampage was shutout 2-0 by the Reign on Saturday. Although the visiting team killed all three of Ontario's power plays, the squad struggled to produce offensively.
Ontario took a 1-0 lead in the first period and added another marker in the middle frame to control the game. The Rampage outshot the Reign 10-2 in the final 20 minutes, but the team could not find twine.
Spencer Martin started in net and made 21 saves.
Grimialdi continues to lead the team in goals (27) and points (47) and has recorded 20 assists in 65 competitions.

Colorado Eagles (ECHL)

The Colorado Eagles picked up one win last week and clinched their spot in the 2017 Kelly Cup Playoffs. The Eagles gained home ice advantage and will host Games 1, 2, 6 and 7 in the first round starting on April 14.
The Eagles started the week by defeating the Rapid City Rush 3-2 on Wednesday. Colorado got on the board first in the middle frame, but Rapid City picked up the next two tallies to nab a 2-1 lead.
In the third period, Colorado scored the equalizer off a deflected shot and then capitalized on a power play to score the game-winner. Casey Pierro-Zabotel registered three assists and Luke Salazar recorded a multi-point performance with a tally and two helpers.
The Eagles' five-game winning streak was snapped after falling 5-2 to the Utah Grizzlies on Friday.
Utah gained a 3-0 lead by the halfway point, but Colorado returned with a 5-on-3 rush to get on the board. The Eagles continued their momentum to find the back of the net another power-play goal to slice the lead again.
The Grizzlies picked up the next two markers to take home the victory.
The Eagles were swept by the Grizzlies 4-1 the following night. Trailing 1-0 in the opening frame, Colorado jumped on a 2-on-1 rush to tie the game 20 seconds before the first intermission. The Eagles were unable to convert on four power-play opportunities, and Utah recorded three additional tallies to maintain the lead.
Colorado now hits the road to face the Idaho Steelheads on Wednesday with only five games remaining in the season.

OHL

Travis Barron (Ottawa 67's): The Ottawa 67's competed in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals last week in a best-of-seven series against the Mississauga Steelheads. Ottawa started with a 6-2 loss on Friday. Barron recorded a marker in the team's 4-0 shutout win on Sunday. He finished the regular season campaign with 13 goals and 21 assists in 59 contests.

QMJHL

J.C. Beaudin (Rouyn-Noranda Huskies): The Huskies embarked on their playoff quest against the Halifax Mooseheads last week in a best-of-seven series. J.C. Beaudin registered a helper on Friday, but Rouyn-Noranda fell 5-4. The Huskies recovered on Saturday with a 3-2 overtime victory, and Beaudin picked up another assist in the win. Beaudin finished the regular season with 80 points (30 goals and 50 assists) in 65 games.
Nicolas Meloche (Charlottetown Islanders): The Charlottetown Islanders are 2-0 in their best-of-seven series against the Baie-Comeau Drakkar. The Islanders opened with a 4-2 victory on Friday and then dominated the Drakkar 9-2 on Saturday. Melcohe recorded two points last week with an assist on Friday and marker on Saturday. He collected 47 points (16 goals and 31 assists) in 61 regular-season matches.

WHL

Josh Anderson (Prince George Cougars): The Prince George Cougars split decisions with the Portland Winterhawks last week in the first round of their best-of-seven playoff series. The Cougars lost 4-2 on Friday but skated away with a 5-1 victory on Sunday. Anderson finished the regular season with three tallies and eight helpers in 69 games.

NCAA

Will Butcher (University of Denver): The Denver Pioneers advanced to the Frozen Four after two triumphant wins in the NCAA Midwest Regionals last week. Butcher scored in Denver's 5-2 victory over Michigan Tech on Friday. The Pioneers then defeated Penn State 6-3 on Saturday. The team faces Notre Dame in the Frozen Four on April 6. Butcher led the team with 29 assists and had seven goals in 41 regular-season outings this year.
Tyson Jost (University of North Dakota): The University of North Dakota was heartbroken in the first round of the West Regionals, falling 4-3 in double overtime against Boston University at home on Friday. Jost finished second on the team in points (35), goals (16-tied) and assists (19) in 33 regular-season contests.
Cam Morrison (University of Notre Dame): Cam Morrison made quite the playoff impression last week recording three points in the Northeast Regionals. The University of Notre Dame defeated Minnesota 3-2 on Saturday, and Morrison picked up an assist. The defensemen then scored two markers as the Fighting Irish overcame UMass-Lowell 3-2 in overtime on Sunday. Notre Dame will compete against the University of Denver in the Frozen Four on April 6. Morrison collected nine goals and 11 assists in 36 regular-season competitions.
Ben Storm (St. Cloud State University): St. Cloud State University's season ended two weeks ago when the team lost in the NCHC Quarterfinals. Ben Storm had one playoff assist. He finished the regular season with a total of four helpers in 29 competitions. Storm signed an amateur tryout with the San Antonio Rampage on March 18 and will look to make his professional debut next week.

Sweden

Gustav Olhaver (Rogle BK J20, Super Elit): Gustav Olhaver and Rogle BK concluded its season after being defeated by HV71 in the best-of-three playoff series. Olhaver collected 15 goals and 23 assists in 36 contests during his 2016-17 campaign.
Adam Werner (Bjorkloven, Allsvenskan): Bjorkloven and Adam Werner did not make the playoffs after finishing the regular season in 11th place with a 20-26-6 record. Werner posted a 12-13 record with a 2.98 goals-against average, .892 save-percentage and two shutouts in 25 games.
Wilhelm Westlund (Timra IK, Allsvenskan): Timra IK and Wilhelm Westlund completed the 2016-17 season after being eliminated from the Meca Hockey Race by IK Pantern. The defenseman finished with one tally and eight helpers during the regular season and had three points (one goal and two assists) in five postseason outings.

Slovakia

Maximilian Pajpach (HK Poprad, Slovak Extraliga): Maximilian Pajpach split time this season between HK Poprad of Slovak Extraliga and MHC Martin B in Slovakia's second-tier pro league. Pajpach has a 4.22 goals-against average and a .872 save percentage in nine games for Poprad. He's recorded a 7.05 goals-against average and a .828 save percentage in five contests with MHC Martin B. Pajpach also played in four games with Poprad's under-20 team, where he registered a 3.41 goals-against average and .929 save percentage.

KHL

Denis Parshin (Salavat Yulaev Ufa): Denis Parshin and Salavat Yulaev Ufa finished the 2016-17 season after losing in five games in the East Conference Quarterfinals. Parshin had two assists in five postseason contests and 20 points (eight goals and 12 assists) in 53 regular-season games.
Andrei Mironov (Dynamo Moscow): Andrei Mironov and Dynamo Moscow concluded the regular season after being eliminated from the KHL playoffs by SKA Saint Petersburg. Mironov had three assists in nine playoff games and one goal and three helpers in 18 regular-season matches.

High School

Nate Clurman (Culver Academy): Nate Clurman and Culver Academy have been invited to compete in the 2017 USA Hockey Youth Tier-I 18U National Championship. The tournament runs April 6-10 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Central Interior Hockey League

Luke Walker (Terrace River Kings): Luke Walker helped the Terrace River Kings win the Coy Cup in the Central Interior Hockey League in British Columbia. Walker led all players in postseason scoring with seven points (three goals and four assists) in five games after he recorded 24 points (12 goals and 12 assists) in 14 regular-season contests. In the best-of-three championship series against the Williams Lake Stampeders, Walker scored a goal in Game 1 but Terrace lost 4-2 on March 4. The River Kings rallied in the next two road contests, as Walker had a four-point night (goal and three assists) in a 5-4 overtime win on March 11 before the club took the series with a 2-1 victory the next night.
