San Antonio Rampage

Forward Julien Nantel lit the lamp to put the Rampage back within one just past the halfway mark of the final 20 minutes and J.C. Beaudin tallied his first AHL point with a helper on the goal. Iowa sealed the win with an empty-net tally with a man advantage in the final seconds of the contest. The Rampage outshot the Wild 47-25 and went 1-for-5 on the power play as Spencer Martin turned away 20 pucks in the loss.
San Antonio came back with a 4-3 overtime victory on Saturday in its second matchup with Iowa. The Wild got on the scoreboard first, however the match was knotted by the 8:59 mark of the opening stanza. Andrew Agozzino and Rocco Grimaldi registered helpers on the equalizer, Griamldi's 75th AHL assist.
A 2-1 lead for the Wild going into the first intermission quickly turned to a 3-1 lead in the second period. Beaudin started the Rampage comeback with his first AHL goal to put the Rampage within one. Julien Nantel forced a turnover at the Iowa blue line in the final 20 minutes to tie the game and force overtime.
Nearing the halfway mark into extra minutes, Grimaldi found the back of the net off a pass from Beaudin for the Rampage victory. Joe Cannata was between the pipes for San Antonio and recorded 22 saves. The Rampage shut the Wild out on the power play in six chances and put up 40 shots on the Wild netminder.
On Tuesday, the Avalanche reassigned Chris Bigras and Andrei Mironov to San Antonio. Julien Nantel was recalled from the Colorado Eagles on Thursday and Dominic Toninato was reassigned to the Silver and Black and the Avs recalled Rocco Grimaldi from the Rampage.

Colorado Eagles (ECHL)

The Colorado Eagles outscored the Utah Grizzlies at home twice this week. On Friday, Colorado's power play and penalty kill led them to a 7-3 victory over Utah. The Eagles were 4-for-6 with a man advantage and held the Grizzlies scoreless all four times they fell shorthanded. Eleven different Eagles recorded at least one point in the contest, while seven Colorado skaters finished the game with multi-point performances. The next night Colorado outlasted Utah 2-1 in overtime. The Eagles found the back of the net 3:10 into the extra frame for the two-game series sweep of the Grizzlies.

OHL

Travis Barron (Ottawa 67's):Forward Travis Barron assisted on the Ottawa 67's only goal in the squad's 4-1 loss to the Kingston Frontenacs on Wednesday. The 67's bounced back on Saturday with a 4-3 victory over the Barrie Colts and Barron recorded nine shots in the match. Ottawa closed out the week on Sunday with a 4-0 loss to the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds. In 28 games, Barron has registered 23 points (six goals, 17 assists) this season.
Conor Timmins (Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds):Conor Timmins has a six-game point streak after recording three multi-point games with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds this week. The blueliner found the back of the net twice on Thursday in a 7-5 victory over the Peterborough Petes. On Friday, the Greyhounds defeated the Kingston Frontenacs 3-2 in overtime. Timmins recorded a helper in regulation and tallied a power-play game-winning goal in extra minutes. Sault Ste. Marie outscored the Ottawa 67's 4-0 on Monday in their last outing of the week. The defenseman had two assists in the victory marking six points in three games. In 25 contests this campaign, Timmins has registered 30 points (six points, 24 assists).

WHL

Josh Anderson (Prince George Cougars):After suffering a 5-3 loss to the Kelowna Rockets on Wednesday, the Prince George Cougars had another 5-3 loss on Friday to the Vancouver Giants. Josh Anderson lit the lamp for the first time this season in the contest. The blueliner also recorded a helper on Saturday when the Cougars defeated the Giants again 6-2. Anderson has put up five points (one goal, four assists) in 14 matches this season.
Nick Henry (Regina Pats):The Regina Pats snagged two wins in two outings this week. The Pats defeated the Red Deer Rebels 4-2 on Friday and went on to outscore the Calgary Hitmen 4-1 on Monday. Nick Henry assisted two tallies in the Friday victory. The right wing has two goals and five assists in 10 games this campaign.
Ty Lewis (Brandon Wheat Kings):Ty Lewis recorded eight points in the Brandon Wheat Kings' four contests this week. Lewis recorded three assists on Tuesday in Brandon's 6-5 overtime win against the Red Deer Rebels and another pair of helpers on Wednesday when the club outscored the Edmonton Oil Kings 3-1. The Wheat Kings emerged with another 5-1 victory when they took on the Lethbridge Hurricane on Friday and the left wing recorded two points (one goal, one assist) in the match. In the final outing of the week, Brandon snagged a 5-4 overtime win over the Medicine Hat Tigers and Lewis put up another helper. The forward has 48 points this campaign (14 goals, 34 assists) in 27 matches.

NCAA

Cale Makar (UMass):UMass improved to 8-6-0 this season with a victory over UConn on Friday, their only contest of the week. Cale Makar recorded a helper in the 4-3 victory. The defensemen has nine points (one goal, eight assists) in 14 contests.
Cam Morrison (Notre Dame):Notre Dame stays atop the Big Ten with two wins over Michigan State this weekend improving their conference record to 8-0-0. The Irish emerged with a 3-1 victory on Friday before outscoring Michigan State 2-0 on Saturday. Cam Morrison didn't find the scoresheet in either matchup. The forward has hit the ice 18 times this season and recorded 10 points (four goals, six assists).
Denis Smirnov (Penn State):Penn State (9-7-2) improved to second place in the Big Ten this week with a tie and a victory in a two-game series against Ohio State. On Friday, Smirnov hit the ice with Penn State for the first time since Oct. 28 due to an undisclosed injury. The first match between the clubs ended in a 5-5 tie but Penn State took the next game outscoring Ohio State 4-0 on Saturday. Smirnov has 12 points (six goals, six assists) in 10 games this season.
Shane Bowers (Boston University):Boston University (9-6-2) stays in first place in the Hockey East after splitting a home-and-home series with Boston College this weekend. On Friday, Shane Bowers registered a goal and three assists in a 7-4 victory for Boston University. Bowers was the only skater to find the back of the net for the club on Saturday, as the club fell 4-1 in the second contest. In 17 outings, Bowers has eight goals and five helpers for 13 points.

USHL

Nate Clurman (Tri-City Storm): The Tri-City Storm defeated the Madison Capitols in its home arena twice over the weekend. Nate Clurman tallied a helper in each victory as the Storm outscored the Capitols 5-2 on Friday and 3-0 on Saturday. Clurman now has three assists in 16 contests this campaign.

BCHL

Nick Leivermann (Penticton Vees):Nick Leivermann assisted on a power-play goal for the Penticton Vees in the club's 3-0 victory over the West Kelowna Warriors on Wednesday. The Vees defeated the Nanaimo Clippers 2-1 on Friday and kept the streak alive when they outscored the Alberni Valley Bulldogs 5-2 on Saturday. Leivermann has recorded 23 points (seven goals, 16 assists) in 27 games this season.

KHL

Igor Shvyrev (Mettallurg Magnitogorsk):Igor Shvyrev hit the ice twice this week with the Mettallurg Magnitogorsk. The squad fell 3-2 in overtime to Severstal Cherepovets on Wednesday as Shvyrev finished the outing with a plus-one rating. Mettallurg Magnitogorsk outscored Spartak Moscow 3-2 on Thursday and Barys Astana 4-3 on Monday. Shvyrev has tallied one marker in 21 contests this season.
