The Colorado Avalanche will be headed to the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the second consecutive season, the first time the team has earned back-to-back trips since making 11 straight appearances from 1994-95 to 2005-06.

Limited remaining tickets for Games 3, 4 and 6 (if necessary) of the Avalanche's first-round series at Pepsi Center are on sale now at AltitudeTickets.com.

The Avs secured their spot in the NHL's second season by forcing overtime against the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday. Tyson Barrie and Carl Soderberg each scored and Philipp Grubauer made 33 saves before the overtime period. Erik Johnson netted the game-winner in the extra frame to give Colorado the 3-2 win at Pepsi Center.

The full schedule for the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs will be posted on ColoradoAvalanche.com on Sunday morning. The NHL Network and NHL.com will unveil the entire first-round schedule at 8 a.m. MT.

The Avalanche finishes the 2018-19 regular season at the San Jose Sharks on Saturday. Puck drop is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. MT.
