Goaltender Philipp Grubauer will look to set a new team record tonight as the Colorado Avalanche begins a two-game set at the Minnesota Wild.
Grubauer will start in net after winning three straight appearances and is 11-0-1 in his last 12 games. He can take sole possession of the franchise record tonight for the longest stretch with a point by a goaltender, as he currently shares the mark with Patrick Roy (Oct. 23-Nov. 22, 1996) and Peter Budaj (Feb. 24-March 23, 2007), who also had runs of 12 consecutive contests without a regulation loss.

As a team, Colorado has won four games in a row and has points in 14 straight outings (12-0-2), tied for the second-longest streak in franchise history (16 games, 12-0-3-1, Dec. 27, 2000-Jan. 30, 2001).
The Avs will make one change to their lineup this evening as Kyle Burroughs will make his NHL debut and will be paired on defense with Jacob MacDonald.
Burroughs along with Jayson Megna, Greg Pateryn and goaltender Peyton Jones were recalled from the American Hockey League's Colorado Eagles on Sunday. The Avs reassigned Sheldon Dries, Dan Renouf, Kiefer Sherwood, T.J. Tynan and goaltender Adam Werner to the Eagles to get them more playing time. The Avalanche is on the road all week while the Eagles begin a four-game homestand against the Texas Stars on Tuesday.
Colorado acquired Burroughs in a trade with the New York Islanders on Oct. 30 in exchange for A.J. Greer.
The Wild has won two consecutive contests after sweeping a set at the Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday and Saturday and is 5-1-1 in its last seven games since playing the Avalanche. Colorado defeated Minnesota 5-1 on March 18 and 6-0 on March 20 in the clubs' last meetings.
Below is the Avalanche's projected lineup for tonight's game at the Wild. All forward combinations and defensive pairings are subject to change.
