Philipp Grubauer Vegas Golden Knights 2021 May 10

The Colorado Avalanche's second-round playoff series against the Vegas Golden Knights shifts to Southern Nevada tonight for Game 3 at T-Mobile Arena.
The Avs hold a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series and are expected to use the same lineup as they did in both Games 1 and 2 in Denver.
Philipp Grubauer is 6-0 this postseason, tying the franchise record for consecutive wins in a playoff year set by Quebec's Mario Gosselin in 1987. He has now won 10 straight playoff decisions dating back to last year, a franchise record and the eighth-longest streak in NHL history.

Colorado's top line of Gabriel Landeskog (four goals, seven assists), Nathan MacKinnon (eight goals, five assists) and Mikko Rantanen (three goals, seven assists) have combined for 34 points and a plus-25 rating through six games this postseason. The Avs are the first team with three 10-point scorers through six games in a playoff year since the 2006 Ottawa Senators (Martin Havlat, Dany Heatley, Jason Spezza).
Forward Logan O'Connor, who last played on March 31, is ahead of schedule in his recovery from surgery due to a lower-body injury and joined the group for morning skate today but will not play in Game 3 against Vegas.
Below is the Avalanche's projected lineup based on the forward combinations and defensive pairings from Wednesday's Game 2. They are subject to change.

The Golden Knights have some game-time decisions tonight as forwards Mattias Janmark, Alex Tuch and Tomas Nosek, defenseman Alex Martinez and goaltender Robin Lehner did not participate in morning skate, and head coach Peter DeBoer said afterward that anybody not on the ice today is a game-time decision.
Forward Ryan Reaves will once again be out of the lineup for Vegas as he will be serving the second of a two-game suspension for roughing and unsportsmanlike conduct on Ryan Graves from Game 1 on Sunday.
