The Colorado Avalanche faces the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight for the second and final time this season.
After missing more than two months with a lower-body injury, Sven Andrighetto will return to the lineup and is expected to be on a line with Gabriel Bourque and Dominic Toninato.
Andrighetto suffered his injury on Dec. 31 and has missed 28 games since. He has recorded 18 points (six goals, 12 assists) in 37 games during the 2017-18 campaign.
Semyon Varlamov is expected to get his 10th consecutive start in net. He has played in 40 games this season and owns a 18-13-5 record with a 2.81 goals-against average and .914 save percentage.
Head coach Jared Bednar is switching up his forward lines after Nathan MacKinnon, Gabriel Landeskog and Mikko Rantanen have been together almost exclusively since Oct. 28. MacKinnon and Rantanen will start the game with Tyson Jost while Landeskog is expected to begin the contest with rookies J.T. Compher and Alexander Kerfoot.
