The Rodovre, Denmark, native became the first Danish player in NHL history to win the Stanley Cup.
Eller played one season in the American Hockey League in 2009-10, recording 57 points (18g/39a) in 70 games for the Peoria Rivermen. He ranked second on the team in points and assists and third in goals to earn a selection to the AHL All-Star Game and a spot on the league's postseason All-Rookie Team.
Eller has represented Denmark at five IIHF World Championships, totaling 23 points (8g/15a) in 31 combined tournament games. He also suited up for the Danish at the 2008 IIHF World Junior Championship, notching six points (3g/3a) in six outings.
