It wouldn't be the playoffs for the Colorado Avalanche without the Avs Faithful cheering the team on while waving the iconic, snow white pom-poms.

A tradition since Colorado's inaugural season in 1995-96, fans can grab their 2020 pom-poms for free this weekend while supplies last at Pepsi Center, courtesy of your Hometown Toyota Stores. The Avs are hosting their Round 2 Pom Pom Drive-Thru on Saturday, Aug. 22 from 11 a.m. 1 p.m. in the Tundra Parking Lot to get fans ready for the conference semifinals in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

In addition, fans in attendance can enter to win a 2019-20 team-signed stick.

The drive-thru is a social distancing event, as fans will stay in their cars while getting their playoff garb. Face masks are highly encouraged as well as part of the state's mandatory mask order for public places.

The Avalanche's Round 2 playoff schedule will be announced by the NHL following the conclusion of the first round.
