Altitude Announces Avalanche 2017-18 Broadcast Schedule

Altitude announced today that it will broadcast 81 of the Colorado Avalanche's regular season games during the 2017- 2018 NHL season. Game coverage begins Thursday, Oct. 5 as the Colorado Avalanche visits the New York Rangers. In addition, Altitude will broadcast two Colorado Avalanche preseason games against the Vegas Golden Knights on Sept. 19 and 28. Live coverage of the Colorado Avalanche vs. Ottawa Senators games in Sweden will air on Altitude on Nov. 10 and 11. Each Avalanche game will feature the Avalanche Face-Off pregame show one hour before the game, as well as the Avalanche Locker Room Report immediately following the game.

Mike Haynes and Peter McNab will return as the Avalanche broadcast team in the booth while Lauren Gardner will return as rink-side reporter and host. Kyle Keefe and Mark Rycroft will host the pregame, intermission and postgame shows.
Altitude will utilize its second channel, ALT2, for 10 Avalanche games this season, all of which are denoted on the schedule below. A complete list of channel numbers can be found on Altitude's website at

In addition to Altitude's game coverage, Altitude's weekly show, Avalanche 360 with Jared Bednar, will debut Thursdays at 10:30 PM or immediately following the Avalanche postgame show starting Oct. 5 and run throughout the season. The show will take fans behind the scenes to learn more about their favorite players and coaches with unprecedented access.
Additionally, The Colorado Avalanche Season Preview will debut on Sept. 28 at 7:30 p.m. Web exclusive content will be available on Altitude's website throughout the season.
On the Avalanche radio side, Marc Moser will continue to handle play-by-play duties for all Avalanche games and Mark Bertagnolli will once again handle studio hosting.
