Germany (3) vs. Finland (2) - Overtime

Eeli Tolvanen (Nashville Predators) began the scoring 2:26 into the game for Finland, which outshot Germany 11-2 in the first period and 38-15 overall.
The Germans tallied twice on six shots in the second frame, while goaltender Mathias Niederberger made 14 of his 36 saves in the period
"Their goalie was making big saves and moving really well," said Colorado Avalanche and Finnish forward Mikko Rantanen to the IIHF's official website. "He was their best player."
Rantanen finished the game with three shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in 19:41 of ice time while on the Finns' top line.
Finland is in second place in Group B with a 4-0-1-1 record and 13 points. The country plays the United States (4-2-0-0) on Tuesday to close out the preliminary round.
The Finns need a regulation win against USA, which leads the group with 16 points, to secure the top spot from the pool into the quarterfinals.

Sweden (5) vs. Switzerland (3)

Switzerland scored back-to-back goals late in the second and early in the third periods, but the team could never close the gap as it fell 5-3 to Sweden at Royal Arena in Copenhagen.
Sweden jumped out with three goals in the first 21:14 of play before the Swiss received goals from Ramon Untersander and Raphael Diaz. The Swedes responded with consecutive tallies for themselves in the final stanza to pull away in the game. Dean Kukan (Columbus Blue Jackets) scored a late power-play goal for Switzerland with 43 seconds left to play.
Avalanche forward Sven Andrighetto assisted on Diaz's tally and had four shots in 17:24 of ice time while on Switzerland's second line.
The Swiss presently own the last spot into the quarterfinals from Group A with a 2-1-1-2 record and nine points, but Slovakia (2-0-2-1) is close behind with eight points and a game in hand.
Switzerland wraps up pool play on Tuesday against France.

Czech Republic (6) vs. France (0)

The Czech Republic earned its second consecutive shutout on Sunday with a 6-0 victory over France at Royal Arena in Copenhagen.
David Pastrnak (Boston Bruins) led the way for Czechia with two goals, while goaltender David Rittich (Calgary Flames) stopped all 10 shots he faced. France was outshot 55-10 in the outing.
Newly-signed Avalanche goaltender Pavel Francouz did not play in the contest for the Czech Republic. He is expected to play Monday against Austria in the Czech's last game of the preliminary round.
The Czech Republic is third in Group A with 2-3-0-1 record (12 points), one point behind second-place Russia (4-0-1-0), which has 13 points and has played one fewer game.
