We know Montreal Canadiens forward Paul Byron can skate, but can he skateboard?

According to the best to ever grind a half pipe, the answer is yes.
Byron got to show off his moves for skatboarding legend Tony Hawk at Jackalope Fest in Montreal on Saturday, despite the fact that he was in awe most of the morning.

"It was incredible to watch a living legend in person. He just makes it look so easy,"
Byron told the Canadiens' website
.
Hawk even donned a No. 900 Canadiens jersey and pulled off a few tricks.

And Byron's turn wasn't even the highlight of the day. Hawk took both of Bryron's kids, son Brysen and daughter Elianna, on his board for a quick lesson.
Elianna went first and "giggled the entire time" according to Sarah Byron's Instagram post.

When it was Brysen's turn, he appeared to be a natural as well.

Skating does, after all, run in the Byron family.
