Alex Chiasson
brought the Stanley Cup to the banks of the St. Lawrence River in Quebec City on Sunday.
The free agent forward, who won the championship as a member of the Washington Capitals, enjoyed his day with the trophy in the capital of Quebec.

Chiasson is from Montreal but went to high school at Seminaire Saint-Francois in Quebec City, where he was a member of the 2007 Quebec Midget AAA championship team. He donned the jersey of his high school team during a public gathering with the Cup at his old school.

Before his public homecoming, Chiasson held a private gathering among friends at a restaurant on the St. Lawrence.
Chiasson had two points (one goal, one assist) in 16 Stanley Cup Playoff games for Washington last season. The 27-year-old had 18 points (nine goals, nine assists) in 61 regular-season games.
