Okposo undergoes successful knee surgery

Forward is expected to make a full recovery in 6 weeks

Buffalo Sabres forward Kyle Okposo underwent successful surgery on his right knee this week, the team announced Friday afternoon. He is expected to make a full recovery in six weeks.

Okposo, 32, recorded 19 points (9+10) in 52 games this season with a pair of game-winning goals. His five-game point streak in February (4+2) marked his longest point streak since he tallied points in seven straight in 2017.
