Stan Wong Stan Wong

Stan Wong, 41, brings 13 years of NHL healthcare experience to the Panthers after serving as head athletic trainer for the Washington Capitals from 1986-99. In addition to a Stanley Cup Finals appearance with the Caps during the 1997-98 season, Wong also served as an athletic trainer at Super Bowl XV with the Philadelphia Eagles. After his NFL experience as an assistant, he served as head athletic trainer for the United States Football League's Boston Breakers from 1983-85. He was honored to serve as athletic trainer for the 1991 NHL All-Star Game in Chicago and the 1999 All-Star Game in Tampa Bay. The Fall River, Mass., native received an undergraduate degree in health and physical education with an emphasis in athletic training from Northeastern University in 1981. A certified member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, he is an avid golfer. He resides in Coral Springs, Fla.

Mark Brennan, 40, was honored by PHATS and SPHEM during the off-season for working more than 1,100 regular season games in professional hockey. Prior to joining the Panthers in 1994, Brennan was head equipment manager for the Detroit Red Wings from 1986-94. He served as equipment manager of the American Hockey League's Adirondack Red Wings during the team's 1985-86 Calder Cup Championship season. Mark was honored to serve as equipment manager at the 1993 NHL All-Star Game in Montreal. A certified member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association, he currently serves as treasurer of SPHEM. The Toronto native received an undergraduate degree in athletic training from Sheridan College in 1983. His hobbies include automobile restoration, carpentry, fishing and golf. Mark and his wife, Judy, who serves as an administrative assistant for PHATS and SPHEM, reside in Lake Worth, Fla., with their daughter, Meagan, and son, Tucker.
