New Jersey Devils vs. Philadelphia Flyers

Saturday, 12.13.2003 / 7:00 PM

PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- The Philadelphia Flyers try to remain undefeated at the Wachovia Center this season when they conclude a home-and-home series against the New Jersey Devils on Saturday.

The Flyers are a league-best 17-3-8-1, including 12-0-2 at the Wachovia Center, where they have won eight straight games since tying Carolina here on October 25.

Philadelphia is 3-0-3 in its last six games overall, and capped a 1-0-3 road trip with a 3-3 tie at New Jersey on Friday.

Keith Primeau scored with 6:25 left in the third period for the Flyers, who rallied from deficits of 2-0 and 3-2. The Flyers limited New Jersey to 21 shots while peppering Martin Brodeur with 40, the most by a Devils' opponent this season.

Primeau was camped at the top of the crease and got away from Devils captain Scott Stevens long enough to convert a centering pass from Sami Kapanen, who had a season-high three points on a goal and two assists.

Donald Brashear also scored for the Flyers, who have just one loss in their last 19 games (13-1-5) and remained six points ahead of the second-place Devils in the Atlantic Division.

Patrik Elias had a goal and an assist for the Devils, who are 3-0-1 since a loss to Phoenix on December 2.
