Quick will be playing in his first international hockey competition. He is the first University of Massachusetts alumni to make a U.S. Olympic hockey team in 86 years - and just the fourth in history. Thomas Pock of UMass played for Austria in the 2002 Salt Lake City Games.<br />
In 2007, he became only the second goaltender in ECHL (East Coast Hockey League) history to record his first win, first shutout and score his first goal in the same game.<br />
Very happy that old guy finally scored. It was great. You see the excitement on his face. I remember when I scored my first goal and it's just such a great feeling. Anytime you can help contribute to a team win it's a lot of fun.
