Porter was originally drafted by Arizona in 2004 and played 38 NHL games for the franchise between 2008-10. Made his PIT debut on Oct. 10 at ARI. Played in 4 preseason games for Pittsburgh. 2014-15 SEASON/CAREER: Spent the season with the Grand Rapids of the American Hockey League. Helped the Griffins advance to the Western Conference Final, appearing in 16 postseason contests. Best NHL season was 2010-11 with Colorado. Established career highs in games played (74), goals (14), assists (11) and points (25). Won Hobey Baker Award as nation's top collegiate player following senior season at the University of Michigan that saw him post 63 points (33G-30A) in 43 games.
