A first-time Olympian, Tollefsen is the only NHL player on Norway’s roster for the 2010 Olympic Games. He represented Norway at the World Under-18 Championships in 2001 and 2002.

He also played for Norway at the World Junior Championship in Group A in 2002, 2003 and 2004 registering a high of six points (2-4-6) in 2003.

This will be Tollefsen’s first time playing for Norway since 2005 at the World Championship.
