Missed majority of 2005-06 due to facial (pre-season) and head (November 21, 2005 at Edmonton) injuries. Traded to Colorado by San Jose for Colorado's 6th round choice (later traded back to Colorado - Colorado selected Jonas Holos) in 2008 Entry Draft, February 27, 2007. Missed majority of 2006-07 due to back and ankle injuries. Missed majority of 2007-08 as a healthy reserve. Officially announced his retirement, September 7, 2009.
