Team name changed to Brooklyn Americans prior to 1941-42 season. Returned to Brooklyn by Toronto (Pittsburgh-AHL) with the trade of Phil McAtee for Viv Allen and Glenn Brydson, October 8, 1941. Signed as a free agent by Pittsburgh (AHL), September 24, 1942.
It's really exciting. I'm pretty sure that when I play my first game I'm going to be emotional. To be back on the ice playing a game, being in game situations, with all the routines and rituals I do before games and during the game, I feel like I'm going to be emotional.
