Glenn Schiiler

Host, NHL On The Fly & NHL Tonight

Glenn Schiiler joins NHL Network as host of its marquee shows "NHL On The Fly" and "NHL Tonight," bringing highlights and analysis to the viewers at home.

Prior to joining NHL Network, Schiiler was a sports anchor on "Score Weekend" and "Score Tonight," which ran on The Score cable network. During the 2011-12 NHL season, Schiiler served as The Score’s senior reporter, extensively covering Sidney Crosby's concussion issues and his return to the Pittsburgh Penguins. Schiiler also spearheaded a special two-part series that featured the story of Tiger Woods' swing coach Sean Foley. Additionally, Schiiler interviewed some high-profile athletes while at The Score, including LeBron James, Chris Bosh, Kobe Bryant, Derek Jeter, Alex Ovechkin and Jonathan Toews.

Before joining The Score, Schiiler was a news videographer at Thunder Bay Television  then at A-Channel Ottawa, where he was in charge of shooting, producing, editing and presenting stories for newscasts. While working for the award-winning newscast in Ottawa, he began anchoring news and sports segments.

Schiiler brings to NHL Network nearly 12 years experience in the broadcasting industry, including working directly on the news beat covering the Toronto Maple Leafs, Raptors and Blue Jays.

Schiiler graduated with a diploma in TV Broadcasting from Confederation College in Thunder Bay, Ontario, where he was born and raised.
