Dave Reid

Analyst, NHL On The Fly

A two-time Stanley Cup® champion, Dave Reid was known for his tenacious defensive style during his NHL career.  That same tenacity shines through when he appears as an analyst on NHL On The Fly.

Reid was originally drafted by the Boston Bruins in 1982 and remained with the organization until being signed by the Toronto Maple Leafs as a free agent in 1988.  Reid returned to Boston in 1991 before joining the Dallas Stars in 1996 where he would eventually win his first Stanley Cup® in 1999.  He spent his last two years in the NHL as a member of the Colorado Avalanche, where he would collect another Stanley Cup® ring in 2001.

In 961 career NHL regular-season games, the Toronto native tallied 369 points including 165 goals.
