Todd McLellan
Head Coach

Todd McLellan was named head coach in San Jose Sharks franchise history on June 12, 2008, and led off with a remarkable debut during the 2008-09 season. In his first year with the Sharks, the 2008-09 season, McLellan helped lead the team to their first ever President’s Trophy, honoring the team for the best overall regular season with a franchise record of 53 wins and 117 regular season points. ...more
Larry Robinson
Associate Coach

Larry Robinson was named associate coach of the San Jose Sharks on July 9, 2012. Prior to taking the job with San Jose, Robinson spent over 16 years with the New Jersey Devils organization as head coach, assistant coach and special assignment coach. Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame as a player in 1995, Robinson brings over 35 years experience in pro hockey as both a player and coach. ...more
Jim Johnson
Assistant Coach

The San Jose Sharks named Jim Johnson assistant coach on July 10, 2012. Johnson most recently was an assistant coach on Dale Hunter’s staff with the Washington Capitals.  He has also served as an assistant coach with the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2010 and interim head coach of the Phoenix Coyotes in 1999-00. ...more
Jay Woodcroft
Assistant Coach

Jay Woodcroft was named assistant coach of the San Jose Sharks prior to the 2008-09 season. His responsibilities include designing penalty kill schemes, working with the team’s centers on faceoff technique, pre-scouting the opposition, and on-ice skill development work with individual players. He plays a key role in in-game adjustments by being the Sharks’ "eye in the sky". ...more
Corey Schwab
Goaltending Coach

Former National Hockey League goaltender and Stanley Cup winner Corey Schwab was named goaltending development coach for the San Jose Sharks prior to the 2011-12 season. Schwab assumes the goaltending coaching duties for Sharks prospects in Worcester (American Hockey League), Phoenix (ECHL) and amateur leagues. He will work closely with Wayne Thomas, whose responsibilities as the vice president and assistant general manager of the San Jose Sharks and general manager of the Worcester Sharks include coaching the goaltenders at the NHL level. ...more
