Tony Luftman was most recently a digital host for NHL.com and served as an on-air talent on CBS Sports Radio. At NHL Network, Luftman will serve as a host of NHL Tonight, as well as in-game updates and various other NHL Network programming. 

Luftman’s love for hockey began as a four-year old when he watched the 1980 U.S. Olympic Hockey Team win the Gold Medal.

Over the course of his career in broadcasting, Luftman has covered the NHL, MLB, NBA, NFL, MMA, college sports and WWE. The Los Angeles, CA native made the leap to national network assignments with CBS Sports Network’s "Lead Off", "ROME" and college basketball coverage.

Luftman graduated from UCLA with a degree in history, where he spent four seasons as a team manager for the Bruin Basketball team and two summers as a team manager for USA Basketball.  His career highlights were being a member of UCLA's 1995 NCAA Championship team and the 1996 USA Basketball Under 22 World Championship team, which captured a gold medal.
