Team rosters packed with NHL draft picks and 2011 Entry Draft prospects

NEW YORK – For the fourth consecutive year, NHL Network U.S. will showcase the best teams in Canadian major junior hockey as they compete for a national championship title at the 2011 MasterCard Memorial Cup tournament.  NHL Network U.S will feature a combination of live and tape delayed broadcasts throughout the 10 days of competition from the tournament's host city of Mississauga, Ontario. 

Fans will have the opportunity to see the NHL's future stars and 2011 draft picks as they take to the ice from May 19-29 at the Canadian Hockey League's pinnacle tournament.  Those teams challenging for the 2011 MasterCard Memorial Cup include Western Hockey League (WHL) champion Kootenay Ice, Ontario Hockey League (OHL) champion Owen Sound Attack and Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) champion Saint John Sea Dogs, plus the host team Mississauga St. Michael's Majors (OHL).

NHL Network hosts Conference Finals Preview Show

New York/Toronto -- NHL Network™ today announced its coverage plans for the Conference Finals round of the 2011 Stanley Cup® Playoffs, beginning with a special preview show on Friday, May 13.

NHL Network will host a one-hour NHL On The Fly: Conference Finals Preview show from 6:00 -- 7:00 p.m. ET. Host David Amber will mediate an all-goalie panel with regular contributor Kevin Weekes and special guest analyst and Chicago Blackhawks netminder Marty Turco, who also will be joining the NHL On The Fly cast throughout the Conference Finals.

NHLN-U.S. to air Caps-Bolts game Wednesday

NEW YORK – NHL Network U.S. will telecast Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinal series between the Washington Capitals and Tampa Bay Lightning from the St. Pete Times Forum tomorrow night at 7:00 p.m. ET.*

The teams will meet tonight in Tampa in Game 3 of the series that began with two Lightning victories in Washington.

NHL Network-U.S. has Game 7 of Pens-Lightning

Wednesday night's Game 7 between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Tampa Bay Lightning will be broadcast live nationally on NHL Network in the United States. Local blackouts will still apply in local areas, with the game being broadcast by Root Sports in Pittsburgh and Sun Sports in Tampa.

The Lightning have won their last two games in the series -- including Game 5, also at Consol Energy Center -- to draw even after facing a 3-1 deficit.

The game will also be joined in progress by Versus following the completion of Game 7 between the Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens.

NHL Network-U.S. replays Sharks-Kings at 2 ET

Hockey fans who went to bed early or just want to relive the magic of the San Jose Sharks' four-goal rally for a 6-5 overtime win over the Los Angeles Kings in Game 3 of their Western Conference quarterfinal-round series on Tuesday night can watch a replay of the game at 2 p.m. ET Wednesday on the NHL Network in the U.S.

After the Kings opened up a 4-0 lead early in the second period, the Sharks scored five of the next six goals to tie the score. Devin Setoguchi then provided the winning tally 3:09 into the extra period, giving San Jose a 2-1 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Couturier, Holik guests on Wednesday's NHL Live

Top prospect Sean Couturier and former New Jersey Devils forward Bobby Holik will be among the guests Wednesday on NHL Live, which airs from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on NHL Network and NHL.com.

Couturier is projected by many to be a top-5 pick at the 2011 Entry Draft. The 18-year-old center has 11 points (6 goals, 5 assists) in 10 playoff games for Drummondville in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. In 58 regular-season games, the 6-foot-4 Couturier had 36 goals and 60 assists.

NEW YORK –  The pucks drops tomorrow night on the 2011 Stanley Cup® Playoffs and the NHL Network™ today is unveiling multiple enhancements and programs, with a particular emphasis on live coverage before, during and after every game.
