NEW YORK –Colorado Avalanche forward Gabriel Landeskog has been suspended for two games, without pay, for an illegal check to the head of Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand during NHL Game No. 230 in Boston on Thursday, Nov. 12, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 5:46 of the second period. Landeskog was assessed a match penalty for illegal check to the head.
NEW YORK – St. Louis Blues forward Ryan Reaves has been fined $3,024.19, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for roughing Los Angeles Kings forward Anze Kopitar during NHL Game No. 177 in St. Louis on Tuesday, Nov. 3, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 11:56 of the first period.
The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.

The incident occurred at 11:08 of the second period. Stone was assessed a minor penalty for illegal check to the head.
Ottawa Senators forward Mark Stone will have a hearing Monday with the NHL Department of Player Safety for an illegal check to the head of Detroit Red Wings forward Landon Ferraro during a 5-3 Detroit win Saturday at Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa.
Stone received a minor penalty for the illegal check, which took place at 11:08 of the second period.
Ferraro later returned in the second period.
